Our café is NOW OPENFollowing persistent customer requests, we have finally branched out into café territory with one table and three chairs in the window! We are very pleased to invite our lovely customers to enjoy a cafetière of coffee, a pot of tea or a freshly squeezed juice while they tuck into their pasties, sandwiches or delicious home-made soup.
The picture shows our wonderful customers Sheena and Marianne test-driving our new café section.
And then there was the 1960s...The Haworth 1960s Weekend (24 & 25 June 2017) was another success for the town. We supplied hungry hippies with nourishing veggie and vegan curries, delicious Pennine Pasties, cold drinks, snacks and cake. See link for photos: http://www.bronte-country.com/haworth/haworth-1960s-views.html.
It's the 1940s all over again!1940s Britain returned to Haworth on the weekend of 19-21 May 2017, when the town played host to thousands, all dressed up and ready to have a high old time. We did our usual thing of turning into a pastie shop for the duration Jane's pasties are getting more and more popular! And rightly so, as they are delicious.
Actually, we're trying to come up with a name for them that reflects this... one customer suggested 'In your face' pasties, another 'I can't believe they're vegan' pasties. Anyway, land girl Sally, and the much more glamorous Libby (pictured) had a great weekend serving the troops and civilians with their 'rations', and enjoying the sights and the music.
Next up, it's the 1960s Weekend which comes round quicker that you could imagine on 24 June.
Look what we found...Our picture shows Ecoforlife bottled water, with a bottle made from plants not plastic, and water from the New Forest. Now in store at £1.25. We love what we do!

At Haworth Wholefoods we love Fairtrade, and always try to stock Fairtrade items where we can.
New pastiesWe are very glad to announce that we now have hot pasties again (pictured right)! We've had a few weeks without any due to a change of supplier and they have been much missed. But now the lovely Jane of HB Flour Mill who makes our curries and gluten-free pies has agreed to make pasties specially for us. They are bigger than before and utterly delicious not surprising as the ingredients are always excellent. They are 'proper food'. We have four varieties at present: Jane's 'famous' VG Yorkshire Pasty (like the Cornish one but with a twist), mushroom & celeriac, Keralan potato curry and the sosmix special rolls. And they are all vegan! And just in time for the Steam Punk Weekend!
'Parsonage' range launchedWe are delighted to announce that we are now offering our own range of artisan-made 'Parsonage' jams and chutneys. Initial products include 'Charlotte's Chutney', which is fruity and spicy, and 'Branwell Pickle', which is similar to but of course much nicer than another well-known pickle (both pictured right). The range is made locally for us by hand, using home-grown organic ingredients where possible.
